A lot of people get stuck on this whole idea of finding the “best way how” when it comes to achieving so called success.
And it’s that constant state of mind that they’re in… the constant thinking of “I can’t take any action until I know exactly the BEST way to do it.”
THAT is what’s going to keep you from being successful… that tiny little state of mind that you’re in. Now if you’re not in that state of mind and you’re actually taking action towards your goals then keep on truckin’.
But if you’re in that annoying state of analysis paralysis… you need to snap out of it as quickly as you possibly can.
Find a way that works, that you could see yourself doing, and stick to it. When so called “problems” arise, don’t STOP what you’re doing. Fix the problem - or hire someone to fix it for you - and keep going.
I like finding 2 or 3 different ways that complement each other and apply it all as a system. That way I get more results from the same effort. But the main point is actually APPLYING what you’re learning.
If you don’t do that… you’re doomed. Seriously.
This was a short one… until next time.

A lot of marketers across the board would agree that getting a product to sell is the easy part of home businesses. There are many unbelievable products out there and all you gotta do is simply pick one.
Now the hard part comes in when you try and market the product… and that part isn’t even as hard as you would think it is.
Just like anything else in business, marketing is all about understanding mindset. But not really your mindset… the mindset of your prospects.
If you want your product to be a best seller, you need to figure out exactly what makes your prospects ‘tick’. You need to figure out what benefits they’re looking for and what pains they’re trying to avoid.
And you can do that in a lot of easy ways as well. (There will probably be a future post on market research so don’t trip
Alright so once you’ve figured out what makes your prospects tick… it’s all now about the delivery. Pick the top three hot buttons that your prospects have and use them as often as you possibly can when creating your marketing.
Don’t misunderstand me though… I’m not talking about SPAMMING the whole page with those hot buttons.
Your prospects don’t mind hearing those hot buttons over and over again because that’s what they’re really passionate about. So as long as your message is implying that you understand how they feel and you have the solution they want, then they’ll be willing to listen to you all day.
Alright so going back to the delivery. There is a very simple template that I use every time I go into a new market. It’s a series of websites that are placed in a particular order to get the best possible sales results.
It goes like this: Lead Capture Page -> Sandwich Page -> Sales Letter -> Upsell/Thank You Page
Pretty simple so far, right?
Now the only point of the lead capture page is to send the prospect through to the sandwich page. And the only point of the sandwich page is to send the prospect through to the sales letter. And the ONLY point of the sales letter is to get the prospect to the upsell/thank you page.
So this means that on every single one of these pages, your prospect has only ONE choice. Either a ‘yes’ or a ‘no’ to going to the next page.
And the yes or no question on the lead capture page is, “Would you give me your contact information in exchange for this free report?”
If the answer is yes, then they go to the sandwich page which actually delivers the free report. But here’s where it gets kinda tricky. Your free report needs to actually have GOOD content in it. Otherwise, your prospect won’t bother to click the link at the bottom to go to the sales letter.
But once they’ve gone through to the sales letter, now you have permission to SELL. They expect it and you shouldn’t let them down.
Give them the whole story behind you and your product. Tell them why you’re so passionate about it and why you believe it will change their lives. And it’s ALL ABOUT BENEFITS on the sales letter.
The more benefits the better. But you can’t forget about the features either. (Lol I’ll probably do a complete post on sales letters as well)
Alright… assuming that you’ve done a great job on your sales letter and now they’ve decided to buy from you, here’s where it gets really fun.
If you prospect has said ‘Yes’ to your offer, the next page would be the order confirmation page followed by the thank you page. And the Thank You page is the page that is ignored by98% of marketers… and THIS is how you can dominate virtually any market.
The best thing to do on your thank you page ISN’T to just say “Thanks for your order” and leave it at that. You must offer a higher end product - also known as an upsell- on your thank you page.
The reason for this is that there are 20% of people out there who are natural born buyers… they just LOVE to buy stuff. So they’ll definitely take you on your upsell offer… and when they do, you make extra money without increasing ANY of your costs.
The money from your upsells go straight to your bottom line.
It may seem like a very simple idea, and it is, but you would be surprised how many marketers DON’T use upsells. And now that you know about them, you can use it and blow them out of the water.
While they’re trying to figure out why they are barely breaking even between their advertising costs and their sales… you’re focused on how to spend more on advertising because you have a system that puts extra cash in your pocket with every sale.
It’s a beautiful thing.
Until next time,

The common thinking amongst many ‘entrepreneurs’ seems to be that a recession is a bad time to go into business.
The opposite is true, actually. A recession is the perfect time to go into business. Everything is discounted and your competition is most likely too discouraged from the recession to really do anything. So this means that it’s the perfect time for someone like you and me to go into business.
Now if you don’t have the $100,000’s to invest in a traditional business, don’t worry… there’s still a lot of hope for you. In fact, when I started out in business, I didn’t have any money to throw at my business either. My starting budget was somewhere around $50 per month and I was still able to build a very successful business from my home.
Now the biggest question that pops up in many people’s heads is, “If I don’t have to invest a lot of money up front, then what am I going to actually sell? Where do I get my product from?”
And the answer to that is very simple. You create an information product from scratch… for free.
First thing you’ve got to do is figure what market you want to go after. And to save you some time, here are the biggest niches that are ‘always hot’. If you want to create a product, find some kind of subcategory in the following niches and go after it in a way that you’ll seem unique in the eyes of your prospects:
- The More Money Niche - Basically anything about how to make more money.
- The Health/Fitness Niche - This is probably the biggest one out there. There are literally hundreds, maybe thousands, of new weight loss products coming out every day… and that’s because people who buy one weight loss book are going to buy another 15 by the end of the year.
- The Sex/Relationships Niche - Pretty self explanatory, no?
- Hobbies - I.E. Golf, Fishing, Bowling, Martial Arts, etc.
One thing you should know about market selection. It’s a GOOD idea to go after the niches that have a lot of competition in them. Why? Because that way you already know that people are spending money in that niche. Now all you have to do is make yourself just a little bit better than the person at the bottom of the Top 10 list of competitors your market. Then you keep going until you’re just a little bit better than the guy in spot #1 and now you’ve taken over the marketplace.
As for the actual product creation…
You can do it in one of three different formats.
- PDF - You can type up an entire book inside of Microsoft Word and turn it into a PDF file using any free software online. Then you sell the actual PDF file as your product.
- Audio - For about $40, you can get a good voice recorder or microphone and you can record your information product. This would either be you going through an outline that you created, or you can interview someone or have someone interview you. Then you would sell the MP3 as your product.
- Video - For about $150, you can get a video camera and basically follow the same steps as if you were creating an audio product. You can also get Camtasia studio and create your videos that way… simply create a powerpoint presentation and record yourself going through it.
The way I create my products, I combine all of the above formats together. Since your prospects have different learning styles, you will be satisfying them all if you use all the different formats.
Now I know I said you wouldn’t need to invest much into this and now I’m mentioning something about coughing up $150 for a video camera… but think about it for a sec. $150 is nothing compared to what you would have to pay if you were going to sell any type of physical product.
For $150 investment, and some of your time, you can create a product that will literally pay for itself within a month MAX… and will potentially even give you a full time income from home. And that’s only if you’re going to create a video product and if you don’t already have a video camera.
You could just create a PDF product and it won’t cost you a DIME to make. And you can sell if for pure profits after that.
And once you’ve got your upfront product - also called a Self Liquidating Offer - you can now create more backend products. So if someone buys the first one for $47, then you offer them the second one for $67… and if they buy the second one, then you offer the third one for $197. So from ONE customer, you just made $311… and it probably cost you about $27 to get that customer.
And the beautiful thing about this whole deal is, using the Internet you can reach out to BILLIONS of people all around the world and market your product to them. It’s so EASY to make money from home (I’m talking about six and seven figures here) once you’ve got all the technicalities figured out.
And now you know how to create your very own product from literally nothing.
You can go here if you want to learn more information on how you can make more money from home and turn yourself into the next Recession Millionaire.
